The equipment and fittings were all made by John and had survived the loft well. However, the building needed a lot of restoration work and as we weren't sure about how practical the open sides were, a new building was created jointly by Stephen and Geoff.
The detail inside is wonderful and needed very little work, although a flickering LED lamp was fitted in the brazier to show the coals glowing.
