Stones

The large stones for Edwards were made from different standard repair fillers cast between timber battens draped with cling film. After they had almost dried, they were removed and either cut or broken by hand, cleaned and lightly sanded. Depending on the plaster colour, they were sometimes dunked in cold tea!

Standard gauge stone loads for inspiration.

Trials with weathering (note 3D printed pallets and headstones).

A batch of white plaster stones before tea-dunking.
